A human-scale conference on geomatics and the sea
The merIGéo conference brings together a community of geomatics professionals (public institutions, research organizations, university laboratories, state services, local authorities, consulting firms, associations, etc.) every two years to focus on a common issue: the study and management of the sea and ocean, from the coast to the deep sea.
On June 19, the Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique (Brittany Atlantic Maritime Cluster) held a day-long event at the IMT Atlantique in Plouzané (29) on the subject of digital twins for sustainable use of the sea and coastline. Clémence Cotten, Data FAIRization Manager for the Ocean Odatis cluster at SISMER, took part in a round table discussion on maritime spatial planning and environmental protection.
All presentations and posters presented at the IMDIS conference on May 27, 28 and 29 are available online, along with the conference proceedings.
