Ifremer participates in the Maritime Innovation Day on the subject of digital twins
On June 19, the Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique (Brittany Atlantic Maritime Cluster) held a day-long event at the IMT Atlantique in Plouzané (29) on the subject of digital twins for sustainable use of the sea and coastline. Clémence Cotten, Data FAIRization Manager for the Ocean Odatis cluster at SISMER, took part in a round table discussion on maritime spatial planning and environmental protection.
The aim of the day was to take an overview of current knowledge and questions concerning the notion of digital twins at the service of sustainable use of the sea and coastline. During her talk, Clémence presented Ifremer's data acquisition and banking resources, as well as various projects involving digital twins, such as FUTURE-OBS and RiOMar, and recent calls for projects on the subject.
