SISMER performs operational monitoring of all managed marine data services.

"Performs operational monitoring" means checking that the system works when it is called upon. This operational monitoring is done in the form of monitoring the availability of servers and websites (e.g.: Nagios, Incinga).

Operational monitoring is highly critical for the projects and for the circulation of real-time data (with a deadline commitment for the supply of the final data). This relates in particular to operational oceanographic projects related to Coriolis and the management of SMOS satellite data (CPDC from CATDS).
